1. Who we are
Tasty Bites Restaurant (Pvt) Limited ("Tasty Bites", "we", "our") operates the websites at tastybitesrestaurant.com and the ordering channel on WhatsApp (+92 300 123 4567). Our registered address is Plot 142-B, Block 7/8, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi.
This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. It is written to be compatible with the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016 and the proposed Personal Data Protection Bill.
2. What data we collect
- Order information: your name, WhatsApp number, delivery address, and order contents.
- Reservations: name, WhatsApp number, date, time, party size.
- Contact enquiries: name, email, message content.
- Website analytics: aggregate, de-identified page-view counts. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. How we use it
We use your data only for the purpose it was collected:
- To cook, pack, and deliver your order.
- To confirm reservations and follow up if we need to reschedule.
- To reply to your enquiries.
- With your explicit opt-in, to send occasional offers on WhatsApp. You can say "stop" any time.
4. Where it lives
Order data lives in our internal order-management system and, for a short period, in our WhatsApp Business chat history with you. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except the delivery rider assigned to your order (who sees only your name, address, and items).
5. How long we keep it
- Order records: retained for 24 months for accounting and customer-service purposes.
- Reservations: retained for 12 months.
- Contact enquiries: retained for 12 months.
- WhatsApp chat history: retained on your device and ours per WhatsApp's own policies.
6. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Ask us what personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Withdraw your consent to marketing messages.

7. Security
We take commercially reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us, including encrypted messaging channels, restricted access for staff, and an internal policy prohibiting the sharing of customer contact details.
8. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and note the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated on our website for at least 30 days.
